I am a multi disciplinary artist and designer, currently focussing on portrait paintings.

I work to capture the unique character of every subject, creating paintings alive with personality. Through the layering of gestural, abstract marks, the viewer is drawn inwards, offering new emotional experiences in each interaction with the painting. 

Sustainability is rooted in every element of my work. I use natural clay paints and second hand acrylics on recycled card or repurposed canvas, with a zero waste policy within the studio.

ARCHITECTURAL ART

Occasionally I work on larger architectural pieces. Using bold, high contrast colour palettes, layers of expressive marks become a recognisable but abstract interpretation of the building, inviting the viewer to experience details in unusual ways.

KNITWEAR

In 2019 I launched CoopCouture, designing and making bespoke bridal wear for eco-conscious brides. This has now developed into a smaller business, focussing solely on capes, for brides looking for a unique and non-traditional style.
